Unusually cozy because it’s in a beautiful, secluded area. Check‑in was hassle‑free, the parking lot is large and easy to reach. I’ll come back!

The location is very nice, quiet, right by the canal, you can sit in the garden, there’s a shared kitchen, and the rooms are individually and lovingly designed. The only issue is that it’s quite noisy.

The lighting in the blue room is pretty dark, and the left bathroom window couldn’t open. Other than that, the place is very friendly and straightforward. We’ll definitely return.

The historic setting, the way it was renovated, and the location: it’s right along the Finowkanal cycle path. Others have mentioned the breakfast issue. We knew there was no breakfast, but since it was hard to find a place open early for a bike‑friendly breakfast, having some fresh food options in the common kitchen for guests might be a good idea. The information sheet in the room recommends a bakery and restaurants that are not reachable by bike in the morning or early evening.

The check‑in and check‑out were straightforward thanks to the key box, and the room became available four hours earlier than requested when we asked. The location was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. However, the hallway floorboards before the room were loudly creaking, the kettle in the kitchen was heavily limescale‑covered, the coffee had not been refilled, the tea bags were stuck together, and the sponge was very dirty. For the bedding we would have preferred two separate comforters instead of one large one.
