What can you expect in 2026 for a €49 night? A fairly clean room with a working shower and toilet, a desk and wifi would be standard in a boarding house; the owner is very friendly and communicative, the room is okay and the bed is pleasantly firm. The location at a large traffic light intersection makes it very loud when windows are open, and the street noise from neighbors in stadium‑level volume and incomprehensible languages adds to the disturbance. The desk feels extremely sticky, the “bathroom” is very tight, and the shower has only a curtain instead of a glass wall.

It’s clean, practical and worth the price. The location lets you walk to everything, and there are plenty of parking spots nearby. Everything was fine, but a shelf for a wash bag in the bathroom and a shelf in the shower would make it perfect.

Great location, city centre easily reachable on foot. The landlord is super friendly, chatty, and gives good tips on what to do. Nothing to complain about.

The owner spoke good Dutch and was very friendly; the place was clean. However, the room was very hot, and the windows were left open on a stifling day, making the entire room extremely warm.

The location is excellent for quick travel back to Holland, and contacting the host by phone before arrival was hassle‑free. When we arrived, we were given useful dining suggestions, which worked well.
