The house is very beautiful and the location is great (very quiet, 1 min walk to the lake and not far from the main attractions.) The owners are superhelpful. We also had breakfast and dinner there which were great. We only stayed two nights and would have loved to spend more time there!

A fantastic communal balcony on the first floor to unwind, with an amazing firefly display right in front of the property, and the beds are huge.

The lakeside spot is super quiet and ideal because it’s so close to Stangate and Wissigirya, and you can rent a bike from the property to easily reach the ancient city and the Bodhi tree. The owners were extremely hospitable and kind, picking me up multiple times at the bus stop and taking me to the courier station at dawn. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and they helped me locate a hard-to-find statue by making numerous phone calls. The price was fantastic—words can’t express how grateful I am.

A wonderful place! The hosts are fantastic and very friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Many attractions in Anuradhapura are within walking distance, or you can rent a bike. For me, this is the best spot to relax in Anuradhapura. I’ve stayed here before and will return whenever I’m back. Highly recommended!
