The setting was gorgeous, and we finally got to relax in an uncrowded natural area; the huge terrace and private beach were perfect, and the staff were absolutely wonderful.

We were greeted very warmly, and the view of the lake from the mobile home was breathtaking while the privacy on the grounds felt wonderful; the kitchen was fully equipped and the terrace roof provided shade at all times, which was a relief in the heat. However, we were never told beforehand that the electricity came from a gasoline‑powered generator that we had to tend to, and only a 5‑liter canister was supplied—over six days we burned 25 liters, meaning we would have had to drive to a station each day if we hadn’t bought an extra canister; the good weather let me sleep on my own mattress on the terrace, which was lovely, but sharing a bedroom with a mattress that was larger than its frame caused me to slip.

The place is nice by the dam, but that's basically all. The accommodation cost 26 000 for a week, and the first thing the manager says is that we should conserve water (stored in a cubic tank) and gasoline for the central system so it doesn’t have to drive. Kitchen cleanliness and dishes are fine. They usually take a cleaning deposit, but I’m curious which one, because there were foreign hairs in the sink 🤮 and I had to clean the drain myself. The connection of the house to the central system isn’t mentioned in the description. We really didn’t want to go out to the woods to listen to the central noise. When the neighbor turned it on, it was actually great, regardless of how run-down everything was. The central is inadequate. You’re told to save water, but the central never heats the boiler; it keeps cycling and trying to heat water. The hot water in the shower lasts a minute, then three minutes of ice water. On the third day, the cable from the central stayed in our hand. Unfortunately, we can’t upload a photo of its condition. Service confirmed it was heavily worn and the damage wasn’t caused by manual handling. The owners don’t come, they’re busy. So we drive around on vacation to find service, which we still have to pay for just to get electricity and water. The owners then tell us they’re willing to split costs 50/50?!! Like that? When the equipment is in a mess? I don’t envy people who break the gas boiler that keeps cycling because the central is weak… This was definitely our worst stay. We ended it early to avoid losing money. On the second day, the owner supposedly came on a water scooter for water. That’s what you want 😅 We didn’t pay the dog fee. The central repair cost 79 € (thanks to the kind gentleman in service for the discount, otherwise it would have been 120 €). The dog fee should have been 40 €, so the owner still owes us 39 €. I can send the account number if you want to keep it solid. If anyone wants photos and videos of the accommodation to see the reality, I’ll gladly send them!

Overall, the impression is just great because the house is by the water and in the forest, the combination is simply amazing, but you have to consider a few nuances: On a hot day the house gets very hot, there’s no air conditioning. You also have to take into account that the house is autonomous and the light comes from a small gasoline generator. Water is supplied to the house from a 1000‑liter tank, so that also needs to be considered; you’ll have to use it sparingly. In summer the heat is intense, so expect this to be a place for fishermen who come for fishing rather than for a holiday. On a hot day the house gets very hot, there’s no air conditioning. This little patch of earth was a real gem. The mobile home offered a huge plot of land to unwind, switch off, and relax – we felt almost completely undisturbed. The contact with the very friendly owner was excellent, and he took care of all our needs. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.
