The bedroom was small but well laid out, and the bed was very comfortable. The price included a pastry and tea. The hotel sits right in the student heartland of Sheffield University, so it can get noisy, especially at the start of Freshers week.

The place was very clean and well managed; breakfast came with good coffee and pastries. The 120 cm bed in a double room felt a bit small, but that was mentioned in the details and it was acceptable.

Quiet and surrounded by trees, though it is apparently noisier in term time. Further from town than we thought but a quick taxi only cost £9. Only criticism was I wanted better beverage provision in the room - one tea bag to cover a two day stay was mean and there was no decaff provision in the room at all. That said, the pastry and coffee breakfast in reception was nice

The location is nice, the breakfast is perfect and small, and the rooms are clean with good bathrooms. It was a bit hot, but that was due to a heat wave.

I didn't have breakfast, so I brought my own. The location is good, and it was peaceful with trees right outside my window. It would be nice to have an electric kettle in every room, and the mattress is a bit worn on one side.
