The location was fine and the breakfast was modest but good. The attic room was a disaster – a wall (probably a technical room) kept a whirring fan running all night, making it hard to sleep. There were holes in the floor covered by a rug, and the bathroom layout was a mess. The value for money was not appropriate.

I stayed in a charming old building housed in a historic villa, and it was fairly comfortable with friendly staff and decent breakfasts; the lunch at the on‑site restaurant was tasty, and the location next to a park and close to the train station offered lovely park views. The elevator doesn’t reach the top mansard floor, so you have to climb one level on uncomfortable stairs, which is understandable for an economy room. In my room there were two issues: a hole in the floor covered by a rug (the receptionist admitted they knew about it) and a night lamp on the panel above the bed that heats up horribly; after touching it accidentally I still have a burn mark after a few weeks. No other major complaints.
