The hotel is close to the airport and a famous pancake shop, and near Cal Smith Beach Park. Bicycles and paddleboards are available for rent, and coffee and hot water are free. There’s a microwave and drinks & alcohol for sale, free parking, and the staff are friendly. Because it’s near the airport, the sound of planes is quite loud in the mornings and evenings (starting around 6:30 am), and frogs are loud at night.

The hotel is great! The staff were helpful. Coffee and tea are free 24/7. You can borrow bikes and surfboards. It’s also cool that honu swim in the water near the hotel. The pool is lovely. I saw that there’s a whole playroom for kids. In the lobby a screen shows the volcano’s live activity. The room was spacious enough for the luggage. It’s a bit pricey for what you get.
