The location was perfect, and there’s a little brook behind the motel where you can catch small wild trout and brookies, which we enjoyed a lot. Walking into town was easy. The steep hill means you’ll be walking up and down a lot, so be prepared.

I liked that it was close to everything, the location was perfect, the beds were okay, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly—great if you just need a place to sleep after a long day of city walking. During our stay, guests from other rooms were outside their rooms, drinking, smoking weed, and being very loud until 3 am, which was a bad experience, especially since I was traveling with my girls.

We stayed in the three‑bedroom house. It was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and well maintained. We used the BBQ, deck with tables and chairs, and the fire pit, which was nice to have options for outdoor enjoyment. I would suggest making the deck around the pool safer; there were many nails starting to lift out of the wood and could become a hazard, so we had to walk carefully to avoid hurting ourselves.
