The host Jean Luc is exceptional—friendly, helpful, funny, and a great Cape Verde expert. His caïpirinhas taste amazing, and his fried eggs with magical potion are also delicious. The location is close to all conveniences and the beach, and breakfasts are served on the terrace. The comfort and décor of Casa Cesaria are worth the visit. Leaving was a bit disappointing.

Jean‑Luc proved to be a fantastic host, deeply knowledgeable about the area and offering solid recommendations. The hotel sits conveniently near Sal Rei’s center, Estoril Beach, and many eateries; Spazio 51 and Bahia Beach Bar are especially worth checking out. The room was spacious, fully equipped, and came with a mosquito net. Every morning, breakfast was freshly prepared on the terrace, featuring a different pastry each day—a lovely touch. The eggs were “out of this world” (you’ll see why!). I strongly recommend Casa Cesaria for a relaxing stay and the warm hospitality of the hosts, especially Jean‑Luc, his sons, and Rosa. We were forced to take the ferry back after only four days; we would have loved to stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, right in the center of Sal Rei and very close to the beautiful Estoril Beach. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also pleasant. However, the room can get quite hot, even with the two fans available, though we knew there was no AC when we booked. The bathroom lacks a door, which might be uncomfortable for some. Overall, a very positive experience!
