“Clean, and cute appartment - getting rudely woken up early on the first edc weekend… plus constant drilling and chilling”
Easy access, I liked the no‑receptionist vibe… the front of the property could use a clearer or more obvious sign for Uber and guests to spot the location. No reception or proper Wi‑Fi because the router is in the bricks, so making phone calls from the room or the restroom is impossible. You basically have to walk to the door for calls to be heard or go through. The whole building can hear your call because there is no soundproofing. In the lobby you hear echoes all over. People talking from upstairs, and maintenance started chipping cement on the ground throughout my stay and I couldn’t sleep properly. The staff or owner need training to understand that guests don’t all sleep at regular hours—there was a festival and sleeping at 4 am–5:39 am and being woken up by music and cement chipping and drilling before 10 am is insane. I understand the maintenance isn’t hotel staff… but it was truly inconsiderate that at 8 am after only three hours of sleep I was still unable to sleep or make a phone call from inside the room because of the drilling and rock chipping. It literally ruined all my plans on Monday due to the connection issues and constant echoing noise while dealing with a stressful rebooking situation. An easy fix would be: don’t make noise or fix anything on a weekend like EDC, provide renters with the option to use the lobby restroom between 8–10 am at the minimum so I could have gotten at least another two hours of sleep before being woken up by cement chipping outside my window and door.
