I liked the location near Monastery Rila, but the bathroom was a mess—no shower tray, it overflows, it's dim, and the sink is tiny.

The nature was great and the huge parking was a big plus for us, plus the grill was tasty. They tried to renovate but the room stayed dark, poorly lit, no fridge, two separate beds without extra pillows, and the pillows were low. In the bungalow the curtains let in light and there was no privacy; the single window wouldn’t close so I had to fold paper over it. The kitchen left me mixed feelings: on Saturday the salad was good, but on Sunday the cucumbers were soft and tasteless. The steak with mushroom sauce turned out to be mostly mushroom sauce with a bit of steak.
