We drove over 500 km from Swakopmund to the gate of the nature reserve and tried calling the owner or the listed number; the owner or manager never answered or returned my calls, and we were never allowed to enter the estate. According to the estate manager, they don’t permit holiday rentals to property owners, so either this property is a scam trying to take people’s money or it simply doesn’t exist. I was very disappointed; I must verify the existence of this property. Imagine they charge you on the next day. This was my worst experience with any listed property, where owners show a disregard for guests or just try to cheat people out of their money. Please ban this property from your listings if you don’t want a bad reputation for your company, because this is a scam. Nothing else about the property exists; this is a scam. We waited over 30 min at the security gate, and even the security guards called the estate manager, who said there is no such property on the estate as they don’t allow owners to rent out their houses for holiday use. Ban this scam property from your site, please, because it will give you a bad reputation. I’ve traveled worldwide using these services, and this was my first ever horrible experience. Shame on the owners; they should refund me for all my traveling expenses.
