“Juste une étape de visite.”
Close to the Temple of Edfou, yet it’s very expensive for minimal comfort and the lunch is very poor.

The staff’s education and helpfulness, especially the receptionist, were appreciated. Nothing I disliked.

I came to Edfu mainly to visit the Temple of Horus, and this hotel fit the bill. It’s within walking distance or a short tuk‑tuk ride. The hotel is basic, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, hot water was available, and the air conditioner worked. Seeing the temple from the window was a nice bonus. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, even if some didn’t speak English well; they used a translation app or called someone who did. The entrance is in the middle of a local market, which added to the local vibe. This place isn’t for everyone—if you have high standards or don’t want to be among locals, it’s not for you. The fridge should have been colder; it was almost 50 °C outside. I also agree that breakfast isn’t great, especially compared to the street’s delicious food and attractive fruit.

The location is great, and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel sits above the souk and is close to the Temple of Horus; the male staff were friendly but the female staff were not, and there was no porter to assist us, making it the most expensive hotel.
