The bed was comfy and the kitchen utilities were handy; Michael the owner was easy to communicate with and the walk to Canary Wharf was short. The stay was great for the price. The only thing that could be better is the bathroom lighting, but otherwise I’d stay again. Ty 👍

The 80s charm of the shared flat was a plus, but the cheap furnishings were a downside, the shower had no water pressure (you can’t wash your hair), and there was a lot of mold in the corners. The communal kitchen fridge had liquid deposits. The landlord demanded a €100 deposit at check‑in (written very small) for possible damage, which is odd for this quality. The street is heavily trafficked and the windows don’t lock. VORSICHT.

The room matched the photos exactly. The road noise from passing cars was a little disturbing.

The location was good, the room was spacious and clean, and communication was excellent. We expected some road noise because it’s on a busy road, but it wasn’t too bad.
