Breakfast was good, and Mrs. Mariana was very helpful and efficient, always ready and polite; Mr. Quinz was quick, friendly, and efficient. The Italian staff were courteous. The room had a romantic old‑England décor, was well‑located, and the balcony overlooking the lake was gorgeous. The external door on the street stayed open all the time – it couldn’t be locked from the outside, so despite the advice to keep it closed, I had to push it open a few times to shut the entrance.
