“Fijn, rustig park met mooie cabins en een paar aandachtspunten”
We were greeted enthusiastically upon arrival and the cabin was clean. The park is quiet and the plantings are nicely arranged, though they’re still young and small. It was also convenient that you could order freshly baked rolls. The cabin does have a spacious terrace, but we missed a lounge set beside the table and chairs. The cabins are close together, and with no vegetation between the terraces, privacy is limited, which felt a bit uncomfortable at times. Sleeping on the loft looked fun, but in practice it’s less convenient for getting in and out, especially on hot summer days when it gets very warm. The air‑con hardly cools that area because the heat rises, so we bought a fan to make it more bearable. There is no oven, only a microwave. There’s no pool on the property; the hot tub is a nice addition but doesn’t fully replace an outdoor pool for us. The access road is newly paved but sits fairly high compared to the berm, so you need to be extra careful, especially when meeting oncoming traffic.
