We have stayed at the Harvey Hotel many times and have always liked it.

We were completely delighted by the location and the beautiful surroundings right across from the dreamy park. The room facing the park was wonderfully designed and brilliantly lit. We were extremely dissatisfied with the reception service; the staff never greeted guests as they passed by, which we saw as a lack of courtesy. The breakfast buffet was only average and did not impress at all. We found it especially inappropriate that they demanded 90 € for a slightly late checkout at 13:30 instead of 12:00. Moreover, our week‑long stay was continuously disrupted by construction in the hotel, accompanied by a constant, very unpleasant, penetrating glue smell. The hotel is visually appealing, but under these circumstances it fails to meet the standards of a five‑star property.

The entire staff and service were very friendly and accommodating. The half‑board restaurant and buffet were in the same room; separating the dining and dinner (buffet) would have been nicer and would have reduced the noise. The music at breakfast and dinner was too loud and intense.

Great location, excellent room, really well equipped. The dining area was understaffed, some coffee machines were out of order, and oddly there were no price tags on the minibar. The parking behind the hotel costs 16 € per night, which is pricey. The pool is very small.
