“Atmospheric building and room, Well positioned for Bari Airport”

The location was ideal for an early morning flight, and Bitetto’s charming old walled district was explored under streetlights. The room was very clean and huge, the bathroom was well equipped and the shower pressure was great. The price was excellent value for a one‑night stay, the internet was solid, and free street parking made the area feel safe. The downside is that the commuter road brings traffic from 6 a.m., so ear plugs were handy. There was no place within walking distance for dinner on a Tuesday night, so we relied on a grocery store. I’m not sure if a few packaged items and espresso count as breakfast in my book, but others might find that fine. The TV was disappointingly small for such a large room.

“Terribile mai più !”

The staff need to be re‑trained; they showed no respect and entered without knocking. We had requested an extra hour to stay after arriving late at night, so we used the room for only a few hours, but they almost kicked us out and then sent a message saying the room was dirty when it wasn’t because we left everything as normal. “We couldn’t wash the floor or reset the bed, that’s your job.”

The historic location is truly beautiful and evocative, but the old windows mean the building offers almost no soundproofing, so any noise from outside or the lobby ends up in the room.

Near the old quarter, everything was fine.

The place is very beautiful with nice décor. It’s perfect, though the proximity to the street makes it quite noisy.
