Birkenhof is a very beautiful hotel with well-equipped rooms. We stayed there for three days and felt extremely comfortable. Breakfast left no room for improvement, and dinner was also outstanding with a multi‑course menu that catered to every taste. The service deserves praise: all staff at Birkenhof were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The wellness area invites relaxation after a day in the mountains. We can only recommend Birkenhof in full.

This place has a great location, clean rooms, and tasty food - no complaints there. However, I was a bit disappointed with the wellness offerings; yoga is only on Wednesdays and massages need to be booked ahead of time, which wasn't clear from the website or booking process. The wellness area is also only open in the afternoons, but the exact times are a bit fuzzy. It felt like they were promoting services that weren't entirely available or clear, which was a bit frustrating.

The family hotel is lovingly decorated and managed; guests are warmly welcomed and feel right at home immediately. It’s modern and cozy, with a fantastic panoramic sauna. The breakfast is superb and the dinner is excellent. The attentive service and spotless rooms add to the tranquility. We’ll definitely return.

We had a great suite and the dinner was very tasty. We appreciated the close proximity to the cross‑country skiing trail. The beds were very hard, breakfast took a while to replenish, and the coffee machine was no longer in top shape.
