“Place needs a good scrubbing”

The place sits well, the front desk was cool, no small talk needed, the bed was comfy but left a hair from a previous guest as a free gift, walls were covered in abstract art stains, the trash bin was full from earlier guests, curtains were taped to block the sun, there was a balcony outside the room—great for a smoke if you’re into it—dirty windows that wouldn’t open but still offered a view, and the whole room made you want to sleep in street clothes. Nothing else to add.
