The view from the hotel is unbeatable in the old city, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, which made my stay comfortable. However, reaching the hotel requires walking down hundreds of stairs and navigating narrow streets, and carrying luggage is inconvenient, especially when you have to climb up to return to the main street after check‑out.

The hotel sits in the historical center of Mardin, housed in a traditional stone house that provides a breathtaking view of the plain. The personnel were very friendly and welcoming, helping us get around the city and the region. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning; the room was very hot in the summer.
