The hotel is tucked into a tourist area that caters almost entirely to Chinese visitors, so the staff seemed a bit unprepared for foreign guests, but they still tried hard to help even when things got tricky. The rooms themselves are roomy, bright, well‑equipped and comfortable, which made the stay pleasant. The downside is that many rooms are smoking‑allowed and the smell of tobacco lingers throughout the corridors.
