Great spot, not far from the Ancient Town. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Because the old town has stone paths, he helped us move our luggage by tricycle, which was a huge help. Any requests we had were handled quickly. The place was spotless, every corner kept tidy. There’s also Baocui Café on site with absolutely delicious coffee. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely our stay was in Lijiang. We would definitely choose Yuanxiang Garden Inn again if we return to Yunnan, China. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very well located in the old town, close to Intercontinental. Plenty of spots to have lunch or dinner. Nothing.

The place is perfectly quiet near the south gate, close to everything yet on the edge so it's much quieter than other spots. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us, especially Mr. Adrian who was kind and always went the extra step when we asked for activity suggestions. The shower taps were hard to gauge the right temperature, so it sometimes ran too hot or too cold, and the bathroom floor felt a bit slippery.

We received a very warm welcome with explanations in English, the room was super comfortable, and they even offered tea with a snack. The location is ideal, the value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend this place; it was a real pleasure.
