The setting, the place, the pool 😍, and the host’s availability were great. The mattress was the only issue.

Janet the owner is simply exceptional, very attentive and kind. The breakfast was excellent, served in a beautiful castle room. The pool was gorgeous. The room was lovely, with great bedding and very quiet. The only thing I’d note is the access road to the castle, but that’s a minor detail because the place is otherwise perfect.

A magnificent property in a charming setting; the pool is superb and the reception flawless, breakfast is extra. However, there is no TV in the rooms and no air‑conditioning, so even in a castle during a heatwave it can be tough – luckily a fan was available.
