The staff were friendly, Pal was on the route of the Liechtenstein trail, but the toilet hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned after previous guests; a drop of urine was still visible under the toilet bowl. The shower is small and has a slanted edge, which isn’t a problem for me, but someone taller than 175 cm might find it difficult to shower comfortably.

As a solo hiker, I was very well received and received an upgrade from a single to a double bed. The evening meals were very tasty, and the owners stopped by for a chat and told me a bit about the region.
