The venue is in a convenient downtown spot in Upington. The place isn’t clean.

The hotel looks nice but has many things that don’t work. We stayed there twice and had to change rooms both times because the heating wasn’t working. They helped us move (luckily there was a spare), but having to do that twice feels excessive. They just keep giving you a room that’s broken. It’s probably better to book the adjacent Marriot‑chain hotel, even if you spend a bit more. We were forced to change rooms twice, and the rooms are noisy because they face a busy street.
