A brand‑new hotel with a stylish interior, stunning sea views and a good breakfast; the beach is just a 10‑minute walk away. The staff were polite and the location is close to a street full of restaurants and bars. After the air‑conditioner was turned off, I heard odd crackling noises in the ceiling and walls, and I could also hear the shower in the room above being turned on.

“I have found the hotel to be very comfortable, relaxing .”

The hotel’s location is close to Kalkan old town, making it perfect for walking into town. I was told the hotel had recently been refurbished, which I could see, but I noticed that some skirting had been knocked off and not replaced, and there were just general unfinished bits.

“Very enjoyable despite caveats and would recommend”

The room was spacious, with an excellent private pool, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and breakfast were very good, and everything was very clean. The recent refurbishment left some finishing touches that could have been better—there was some sloppy plastering in the bathroom and sound fittings. A couple of armchairs would have complemented the sofa in the deluxe sea‑view room, and the lack of pictures on the wall made the space feel a little bare.

The staff were generally very attentive. We pointed out a few safety risks in the pool area, and they acted immediately. I had stayed here before and liked it, so the new team was very customer‑focused, thanks to them. The fridge in the room was problematic, but after I reported it they replaced it with a new one. Breakfast was sufficient, and the kitchen lady was very cheerful. When we went to the sea, the staff there were also friendly and helpful. Overall, everything we ate was tasty, and the new room layout looked pretty good. We enjoyed it a lot. The curtains in the room were torn from the cornice, and the windows were smudged. The room cleaning could have been more meticulous. The private pool’s motor wasn’t working and the capacity was insufficient. My son developed an ear infection, we took him to a doctor, and the last days of the holiday turned into a nightmare. The breakfast server could have been more attentive. We also didn’t like the new outdoor layout of the room. Previously the infinity pool gave the impression of an endless view, and there were no railings blocking the view. The pool looked better with blue stones. The glass barriers in the area we sat in were clear, giving an uninterrupted view. Installing a sunshade on the upper part would make it easier to enjoy that area during the day. These changes would definitely increase the enjoyment.
