The lodge was beautiful, felt like home, well maintained, and clean. The hosts added charming little touches as a welcome, and the spot is fantastic overlooking the lake.

The photos miss the point – there’s plenty of space to unwind and the shower is massive. Colin was super friendly and did everything he could for us. Being next to the lake, we woke up to swans and ducks in the morning. Nothing else to add.

Everything was perfect. The caravan itself was stunning and had that wow factor. The view over the lake was breathtaking. No negatives.

I can’t recommend this lodge enough. The Haven Lakeland facilities and kid‑friendly activities were great, and the lodge itself was beautiful, situated on the lake with everything you could need – we even packed irons, bottle openers, towels, but didn’t use any because the place was so well equipped. It’s in a quiet spot a bit away from the main facility, has decking all around so you can sit out and enjoy the lake view, and a family of swans visited a few times for the kids to watch or feed. Colin, the owner, was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked, through our stay, and even when we left. We’ll definitely come back!
