Khaolak Oriental Resort - Adult Only

“Beautiful place, wonderfully peaceful and close to centre.”

Absolutely gorgeous place. Excellent location, staff and service. Rooms with pool access were fabulous. Nice and quiet despite being so close to the centre. We went in low season, so there was a little bit of maintenance work being carried out. It wasn’t too noisy but did start quite early. No big deal really, it was quieter than some of our neighbours 🤣

“Great place”

The hotel was close to the beach, just across the road and you were already on a wonderful sandy beach. The hotel was in a large area and the swimming pools were large and there were two areas. The staff was really friendly, smiling and service‑mindful. The rooms were large (Oriental wing) and the room with direct access to the swimming pool was particularly nice. The rooms were cleaned every day and clean sheets and towels were provided whenever needed. The breakfast was particularly good and varied. The only negative thing comes from the poor condition of the gym equipment.

“Zentral gelegenes schönes Hotel”

Very pretty and extremely clean rooms with a small terrace and pool access, friendly staff. I recommend it gladly. The parking situation of this hotel is explicitly offered with parking, which is not entirely true; you have to park at the sister hotel. Check‑out required an explanation why I was checking out at night, which I personally find inappropriate.

“My husband took ill with a bacterial infection and was cared for in an upmost way by Mr. Chay and staff, whom organised”

The surrounding plants and garden give the place a tranquil, relaxing vibe, the authentic Thai feel of the buildings and décor is a plus, the staff are very friendly and compassionate, the breakfasts were excellent with plenty of variety—especially “Chef Egg”—and Mr. Chay, the head manager, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and happy; the bistro dinner meals were very good, the rooms stayed extremely clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower/bathroom, and the location is ideal for walking into Khaolak’s Main Street to shop, eat, or visit cafés, and it’s a short walk to the beach and beach cafés. No complaints!

The staff were lovely, super helpful and friendly, and I adored the lush greenery and the pools in both wings; the overall style and decor are just amazing, with nothing negative to note.
