The food’s style and quality, along with the staff’s care and support, were outstanding—perfect in every way. However, I’d have liked a larger room, a wastebin, a chair, and tea/coffee facilities; the shower hose was old and broken, so more water leaked out of the back of the shower head than the head itself, and the shower door didn’t close, so a towel was needed to mop up the water.

Pompei Valley Hotel turned out to be a fantastic find: tucked away yet still close to the city. The spa area was peaceful and relaxing, and the staff were all lovely and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable—special thanks to Maurizio and Ornella. Everything was perfect.
