The surroundings were lovely, and from the top floor you could see the train passing by. We fell in love with the old building. It wasn’t ideal that we didn’t know when other guests were arriving; people came into the shared house just to use the bathroom, and it sounded like some were using the downstairs rooms, but we couldn’t tell if they were random visitors or paying guests.

I enjoyed the traditional Japanese house experience, got to know other guests in the kitchen, and felt very comfortable. The location was confusing.
