The bungalow by the water, accessed by a staircase to the sea, offers a view from the hotel; the staff were kind and the place is calm.
We appreciated the lush greenery and the fact that you can actually walk onto your own beach – a quiet, soothing spot. The staff were friendly and respectful, so keep that up! It’s conveniently close to restaurants and shops. On the flip side, the pillows were quite flimsy, the curtain rod by the door was rusty, and there’s a sewage smell every time the tap runs.
A natural spot a little off the main road – a good spot for a scooter getaway. The only drawback was that there’s no hot‑water system.
“Allez y !”
The staff were absolutely fantastic, and the breakfast was nice, the setting had a pleasant vibe even though the location was a little off the main area it was still walkable. The curtains were old and didn’t block light properly, which was a bit disappointing, but everything else made up for it.
“Teleurstelling”
The room had air conditioning. However, nothing regal about Royal Cliff; it looked very dated, worn out, and shabby. The room, called Seaview, promised sea view but the vegetation blocked the sight. Watch out for falling coconuts – you can also pull them out of the trees. There were many other issues.
