The beach view from the hotel and restaurant is amazing, but we arrived in August and the sea was too rough for swimming; dinner and breakfast were very good. The hotel itself is very basic with small rooms and bathrooms; the pool was nice but had no chairs, probably because we were in low season, and the property feels a bit remote.

This place was our first stop in Sri Lanka and it was perfect for recovering from the long flight. The hosts were very accommodating, the bungalow was very clean and spacious, and the pool was a highlight for our kids. The food was excellent and suited our trip perfectly. The location was very quiet with almost no other tourists, which we really appreciated. The sea wasn’t suitable for swimming, but you could get your knees in the water. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

I liked the breakfast and the view, and the bay was close by, but more sign boards are needed to find the property.

The spot sits on a cliff overlooking the beach, and a staircase lets you get there without effort; however, the hosts didn't bring the energy I was hoping for.
