Good bathroom facilities, comfortable bedding, but the stairs to the room are a hassle and traffic on the street that borders the apartment makes access difficult, especially when we arrived at 18:00.
The garden is nice, though noisy during the day, close to the château, clean, and well‑decorated. The ground‑floor flat is dim; the duplex has a bathroom and toilet on the ground floor, a loft bedroom with a roof window but no view, nothing to hang or store clothes, the bathroom mirror is unusable because it’s too high. There was no direct contact with the owners, only messages—regrettable, though communication was good.

The location is good despite daytime car noise, but some items are missing: bread grill, at least two towels, a coat rack for clothes.

The cottage is properly equipped and the outdoor lounge is great, but the staircase to the room is not up to standard, and there is a lot of noise in the morning and evening because the road is very busy—sad.

The owners were very helpful when we arrived after hours. The two houses matched our needs perfectly, and we were very close to Chaumont Chateau, which we were visiting.
