Finding the place was easy. I checked in at 9.30pm after a trip from Sydney and the manager apologized for the Sunday night arrival. He was honestly the nicest person I’ve met, and his service was absolutely brilliant. He even pointed out my carpark and opened the room so I could bring my gear in. Absolutely brilliant service.

The bed was comfortably firm, the room smelled clean upon entry, and it was a good size. The table surfaces felt tacky or sticky, probably because of age, and the lighting was a bit dark.

From the moment we checked in, the motel was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly, with no problems. We had two vehicles attached to our room, and instead of parking on the road outside, the owner arranged for them to be parked next to the office, which felt much safer. It was a bit dated, but that didn’t break the deal since we weren’t in the room for long; we were there for an event and had everything we needed to get ready right there. Maybe add some wine glasses – that would be it.

We’ve stayed there before and were satisfied in Room 7 because of the comfortable bed, and again in Room 4. When you have a good first experience, you rely on past visits to return. This time we’re a little disappointed with the bed and the smallness of the room and bathroom; I think it’s worth $120 per night and no more. That’s my opinion. I think they could do a little updating to compensate for the small size of the room. We might stay again because we know it. I would like the exhaust fan in the bathroom cleaned; that attention to detail is appreciated.

Finding the hotel was simple and the check‑in went smoothly, and overall the price was a good deal. However, the mattress felt too soft for us, and the room looked a little worn, though it still met our basic requirements.
