Checking into the Queen Anne felt like stepping back in time, with its beautiful, sumptuous furnishings and cozy nooks perfect for a good book and a complimentary sherry after a hectic day. The generous continental breakfast that came with the stay was delicious, and our Executive Suite was spacious, very clean, and the bathroom was a good size. Located near Japantown, it’s a short walk to the center, and plenty of public transport is available if walking isn’t your preference. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel could use some TLC: the carpet in our room needed replacing or at least shampooing, and the elevator carpet was threadbare in a couple of spots. These issues didn’t stop us from considering a return visit.
