The staff were friendly enough, but the hotel itself was dirty with sticky carpets and the rooms looked very dated. Even though it sits in the town centre, there’s no double glazing or air‑conditioning, and the music downstairs was loud enough to hear in the rooms.

The shower was delicious and the staff were super friendly. On weekends they host karaoke, which brings a lot of noise.

The location was great, the place was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. The boom, boom, boom from the music downstairs was pretty loud, but the beds were so comfortable that I fell asleep in minutes.

Despite advertising a lively bar, we were denied a drink at 10:15 and told the bar was closing even though a few people were still inside. Initially we were refused a take‑out, but we were offered a drink in our rooms when I joked that I guessed they had good reviews!
