“Historic place to stay in Orange, we loved it!”
Three families, one weekend, and it worked out great. The house was spotlessly clean, huge, and every bedroom had its own bathroom plus AC. The lounge fire pit was a nice touch that made the evenings cozy.
The surroundings were gorgeous and super quiet, and Helen was always friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
“Relaxing”
Helen was warm and accommodating, the location was beautiful, and everything was clean and quiet. The attention to detail made the stay feel extra special, and honestly, there was nothing to dislike.
“Peaceful, comfortable stay in rustic shearing shed with beautiful rural views”
Only a ten‑minute drive from Orange, the place sits in a quiet valley with hills and cows in the distance. We stayed in a restored sheep‑shearing shed that kept a lot of its original charm, and the ensuite rooms, fully‑fitted kitchen, big dining table, and separate living areas made it perfect for a big group. Helen was a star host—easy to reach and greeted us with fresh banana bread.
“GREAT FARM STAY ACCOMMODATION TICKS ALL OF THE BOXES”
This place feels like a slice of history—spacious, full of character, and just five minutes from town. It’s a unique experience that I’d definitely return to. The only thing that could have made it better was having a few more guests to share the space and a bit more time to explore all the amenities.
