The food, staff, and amenities were good. The only issue was that just after entering the room, there was a smell like urine, possibly from the air conditioner.
“Good and easy access”
The buffet breakfast was solid, though I liked everything on offer.
“OVERATED”
Everything was awful. The only redeeming factor was the location, which is why the place hasn’t closed yet. The staff were dismissive, disorganised, and outright rude—an ugly contrast to the Philippines’ usual warmth. Requests felt like inconveniences, and basic courtesy seemed optional. The room was old, tired, filthy, and had a lingering smell that suggested it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The mattress was a cheap foam slab with zero comfort or support—sleeping on the floor would have been better. The entire room felt neglected, poorly maintained, and joyless. Getting into the room was awkward and poorly designed, adding another layer of frustration. This hotel fails on cleanliness, comfort, service, and basic decency. Calling it “poor” is generous. It’s badly managed and doesn’t deserve anyone’s money. If you care about comfort, sleep, or sanity, steer clear and stay somewhere else.
“Good location .. friendly staff . Nice swimming pool .”
The place is in a great spot and the staff are really friendly, but the breakfast selection could use more variety and it’s not a bargain.
“Das beste Hotel in der Stadt. Toller Pool. Bedienung im Restaurant max. 1-Stern.”
