The place had a pretty bad smell after they'd cleaned the floor - it was like old water and bleach mixed together, and the bedding and pillows smelled like sweat. Not great.

What really made my stay was Daniel's kindness and how easy he was to talk to, plus the pizzas he made were delicious. The natural sounds outside also helped me relax and get some good rest.

The breakfast was overpriced and there wasn't much to eat, and what there was wasn't very good.

This was a great base for exploring Tierra de Sayago and Arribes del Duero - we felt right at home from the start and were offered everything we needed. The owners were super accommodating with menus and schedules, it was a really nice experience. If I'm being picky, I guess you could try to find fault, but we didn't have any issues.
