We enjoyed a tapas‑style dinner and finished with “The Grande Finale,” which was truly delightful – we’ll be back, as we have for 25 years. Our last‑minute booking left us with the only available room, Field, which has a steep staircase but is very comfortable once you manage the steps.

An amazing place in a beautiful part of the world. We booked the pool cabin, which was fantastic but a bit pricey. It sits at the bottom of the grounds overlooking open countryside, has its own pond with fish, and the largest hot tub I’ve ever seen. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the pub was equally well presented with excellent food and staff. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
