Parkhotel Lindenhof - KOSTENLOSE PARKPLÄTZE

“Ich war herzlich aufgenommenen”

The reception was very warm even though it was late.

The location was good, but my room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 19h; they sent someone to change the sheets and towels, and that person seemed like he hadn’t showered since 2003 at least, though he was friendly. Reception was almost empty, and you had to enter through a back service door with no security. A phone number was stuck on a paper on the glass in case the door was closed. The booking page listed breakfast at 12€, but there’s only a vending machine and the nearest café is 4 km away. They turned off the heating at night, so the room was icy in the morning, and for the first three days no one came to fix it… yet I paid 476€ for four nights!

I can’t say what to do! The accommodation was the worst ever; the room felt like someone was living there during the week. The wardrobe was still full of clothes and food. And it was not clean at all. Also, I booked and paid for a triple room but received a double room.

We stayed only one night for the book fair and it was absolutely fine. Luckily it was very quiet. Unfortunately there was no breakfast. It was good for our purposes and nothing to complain about.
