The Wi‑Fi never connected, no matter what we tried, and the wall switch was busted right out of the gate. Within minutes of checking in the power cut out twice, and the “500 m” distance on the listing turned out to be at least a half‑kilometre farther. They finally swapped the bathroom bulb, but that took us a solid two hours, and the shower drains straight into the washbasin next to the toilet – not what you expect from a decent room.

The room didn’t have air‑conditioning, but everything else was spot‑on and tidy. The owners were incredibly helpful, even meeting us at 3 am when we arrived late. For the price you can’t ask for more unless you’re after luxury, and I left with a very positive impression.

The owners are genuinely friendly and the place sits just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to pop out for a dip or a sunset stroll. All in all, a pleasant spot for a relaxed seaside stay.

I liked how the veranda blended seamlessly with the garden and there was plenty of room to park my car comfortably. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a distance from where I live, so I had to make the trip more often than I’d like.
