Freo Lodge is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at; there are no bunk beds or ten people in one room, each guest has their own bed, which is very comfortable. Meeting people is easy and you quickly become part of the hostel’s life. The highlight of the place is Jayda, who acts like a mother to us, caring for us and always offering advice, which is truly valuable when you’re living in a foreign country.

“Super sweet hostel full of warmth”

Finally a hostel where people say good morning and look after each other! I arrived sick and the three girls in my room took care of me and invited me to their BBQ. Jayda runs the place and has been so sweet, holding a room for me and inviting us all for a cheese and charcuterie platter evening. Apart from that the beds are super comfy, you get your own nightstand and little wardrobe area. The bathroom smells fresh and is always clean. Seriously love the place. Can't recommend enough!

I absolutely loved staying at this hostel! From my very first day, I was warmly welcomed by the wonderful Jayda, the manager. She keeps the place incredibly clean, ensures everyone has everything they need, and encourages mutual respect. It’s a place where you can actually get a good night’s sleep, which isn’t always the case in hostels! With laundry facilities, parking, a shared kitchen, a lounge area, and everything you need to feel comfortable, I truly felt at home. Thank you for everything!! See you soon! ❤️

“It was OK the location was good - very near a good eating hotel and other shops.”

We did not receive breakfast. We also couldn’t reach the hotel by phone, despite trying several times.
