The property was surrounded by lush green tea estate and very serene, but the toilet cleanliness was lacking.

I liked the surroundings and vibe; facilities and hospitality were good, but the room size was smaller than expected, the washroom geyser or taps were not great, and breakfast was just okay.

Service was good and everything was fine.

1. Dinner tasted good but arrived very late with no communication, even though it was ordered 5 hours earlier. 2. Breakfast was fine on day one, but day two only had cold idly, vada, and Pongal; no bread‑omelette for kids. With just one dining table, you must wait for others to finish. 3. Bed was comfortable, but the bedsheet and blanket were badly stained, making it awkward to use. 4. Bathroom was okay (broken tap fixed), but the geyser takes 20–30 minutes to reheat, so the next person risks freezing water; no one informs you about this. 5. Rooms were clean, but poor insulation brings outside chill inside, especially in the bathroom—jackets needed even indoors. 6. Caretaker family and manager were humble and pleasant. 7. Parking is extremely limited; if cars are parked in front/behind, reversing up the ramp or moving out becomes a real struggle. 1. The owner was unapologetic about a 40‑minute dinner delay, despite our booking 5–6 hours earlier and having a 77‑year‑old diabetic father and kids under 12 waiting in the cold after a long day. Staff first promised a 15‑minute delay, then another 15, then stopped answering calls; even the manager couldn’t reach them. I finally got through to the owner after 10 minutes of trying, but instead of apologizing or reassuring us, he just said he’d “check with his staff.” Dinner arrived 55 minutes late, by which time my family had lost their appetite. He later defended himself, saying a 30–40 minute delay “isn’t a big issue” and that my “high tone” was the reason he didn’t regret it earlier. For clarity, I never shouted or used harsh words—I was simply tired, standing outside in the cold watching for the delivery, and deeply worried for my elderly father and kids. The delay also ruined our plans: my wife and daughter, who wanted to put mehndi after dinner, ended up starting late and going to bed close to 11 p.m. My real frustration was not just the delay but the total lack of honest communication about when the food would actually arrive. 2. The next morning, only our room faced a sudden 25‑minute power cut (I don’t think it was owner’s revenge after the before night argument I had with him), which ruined our schedule and made us late for the very marriage service that was the purpose of our trip. Staff suggested we use the other room we had booked—as if everyone should book two rooms just to cover emergencies like this.
