Located near Modra’s historic centre, Hotel Majilika occupies the former workshop of the town’s renowned decorative ceramics. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, optional steam‑bath and sauna, and on‑site massage services. Rooms feature LCD‑DVD monitors, Chromecast, safety deposit boxes and hairdryers; some include sofa seating.

The room was big and clean. At 20:00 it was impossible to buy anything at the restaurant. The price for one night in a small-town hotel is like in Vienna’s centre.

The hotel is in a good location, breakfast isn’t the widest selection but it’s tasty and plentiful; when something ran out it was replenished very quickly. The room lacks a fridge, otherwise it would have been perfect.

Communication with the owner is difficult; instead of compromise they use lies and excuses. The hotel itself is neglected and looks like it’s about to collapse. This was the last time I booked accommodation at Majolika.
