Das Graseck sits above Garmisch‑Partenkirchen, offering mountain views and wellness via its cable car. Rooms feature satellite TV, bathrooms and balconies. Restaurants serve specialties, complemented by a beer garden, bar, lounge. Spa includes sauna, steam room, hot tub, and Gap Prevent medical centre. Hiking and cycling start at the door; the Olympic ski jump town centre are 2 km away.

The hotel is solid, the spa is decent, and breakfast is good. The heated pools are wonderful and there's a large relaxing area with a view. Getting to the hotel by cable car is a unique experience, and the gorge offers free entry.

The location is unique and very picturesque. The spa is lovely, and we were also given entrance to the gorge.

The location is very nice, the spa area is pleasant, the food is very good, and the staff are very friendly. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved; there are coffee stains on the wall and dead mosquitoes on the ceiling and wall.

The hotel sits perfectly in the German mountains, with beautiful scenery and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and our room was large, luxurious, and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety of options, including dishes you can order from the waiters. The cable car to and from the hotel is relaxing and takes about 4‑5 minutes each way; parking is free, reserved for guests, and located next to the cable car. Be patient with yourself and the staff during dinner; the waiting time between dishes is quite long, which seems intentional but felt a bit too long for us. Some evenings the food is better than others, and you might wish for a different or more traditional menu, but overall the food is good and the staff provide a high standard of service.

The kitchen, staff, location, and spa are all outstanding, and the price reflects that quality. We’ll keep coming back; there’s nothing negative to mention.
