“Four stars is overrated”
The spot was great, right in the city center, and the city view from the room was nice. The staff were friendly but not overly engaged. Breakfast was decent, mainly Asian fare, but not the Western spread that was promised. The room itself was cramped and a bit dirty; we found bits between the sheets and the towels felt old and worn. Some electrical outlets didn’t work. The rooftop pool bar was closed, which was a let‑down. Accessibility was an issue for both the hotel entrance and the top floor. All in all, this place feels more like a 2‑3 star hotel; I was aiming for a 4‑star experience and would have paid more for a nicer spot. The photos were misleadingly beautiful, which drew us in for a short trip, but otherwise we would have chosen another hotel.
