“Service sucked and a greenwashing scam”

Location. I opted not to have my room not serviced for 2 days in return for vouchers which were not honoured - total scam. At checkout, I was not informed of these extra charges made to my card and was not offered a receipt. Have been trying to follow up - they do not answer their phone and do not respond to website enquiries. Staff were generally unfriendly bordering on hostile. I finally got through to staff through messages and I asked them to send me a copy of the voucher that supposedly detailed their terms. What they sent me - wasn't it - it was just something printed on a piece of paper - not the grey glossy cardboard I received. They also refer to the "Lobby restaurant" - no such thing. All they serve is an overpriced and very limited continental breakfast for $30!

When I checked out, I wasn’t told about extra charges on my card and no receipt was offered. I’ve been trying to follow up, but they ignore phone calls and website enquiries. The staff were generally unfriendly, bordering on hostile. I finally got through via messages and asked them to send a copy of the voucher that supposedly outlined their terms. “Perfect location, staff are friendly”

The hotel is great, well located, with very comfortable common areas, including the rooftop.

The breakfast selection was limited but every item was delicious, mostly bread, milk, yogurt, and the like. The double room was huge, able to stretch out two 28‑inch suitcases. The station was very close, just about a 5‑minute walk from the back entrance. The price was a bit steep, over 7,000 TWD for the double room including breakfast, and I wish the hotel had provided slippers, but otherwise everything was perfect.
