The room was very good – nice size, very modern, good layout. The hotel is a small place above a bistro where you can grab an excellent breakfast – the best omelet I've had in years. Any help you need is handled by the bistro staff. The view of the basilica is great, and it’s a good distance from Scrovegni Chapel and the train station, both of which are walkable.

The cleanliness, the proximity to the Basilica di Sant' Antonio and all the city’s top attractions make this place a solid reference point. The only downside is the sparse presence of staff at the reception.

The location is superb and the tasteful furnishings are great. The only drawback is that everything requires a smartphone – what happens if the battery dies?
